
Franziska Rosenzweig is an experienced ballet dancer and dance teacher. Starting her ballet education aged six, and dancing professionally from age 19, she performed solo and principal roles with the German State Opera Berlin and the Peter Schaufuss Ballet in Denmark. She has taught amateurs, dance students and professional companies (including Random Dance, Richard Alston, Ballet Prejlocaj, Jasmin Vardimon Company, Staatstheater Kassel, Laban Center) throughout Europe, in Japan and India.
Franziska began training in the Gyrotonic Expansion System© in 2001 in New York and continued her education in Europe and the United States with several Master Trainers, including founder Juliu Horvath. She further studied the Pilates method with Stott Pilates© and James D'Silva and completed her 500 RTY Yoga teacher training with Art Of Contemporary Yoga in June 2010.
Franziska was coaching and assisting James D'Silva in the making of Trudie Styler's Yoga , Pilates, Ballet Work Out and Cardio Dance DVDs in 2009 and 2010.
She still works closely with James D'Silva and assists him at his Garuda Mat Work teacher trainings.
In January 2011, Franziska organised a hugely successful fundraising event in support of street and orphaned children she met in Goa, India.
